Let’s Talk Abortion

As all those with a uterus in America are on the brink of losing the right to one… we’re gunna talk about abortion.

I cannot speak on the process of abortion as I myself have never had one. But I would.

I’m lucky enough to have never needed one, but I am under no illusions that if I fell pregnant and felt that it wasn’t the right thing for me then I’d get one.

That’s any reason at all. Money, environment, I simply don’t want to be pregnant again. Any of those reasons are okay.

Because if it’s my body, then it should be my choice!

Why anyone feels that they have a right to decide what other people do with their own bodies is beyond me.

If you don’t like abortions, if you don’t agree with them- then simply don’t have one. But it is nobody’s place to judge another for the decisions they make with their body.

There’s a thousand and one reasons that someone may need an abortion, and banning them won’t stop them from happening.

So let’s fight!

Let’s fight for our right as uterus havers to be able to access safe medical abortions.

Let’s fight for uterus havers to have their say over what they want to do with their own bodies.

Let’s fight so that uterus havers can have the same rights as non-uterus havers.

We’re fighting for complete bodily autonomy.

It’s a dangerous decision!

Banning abortions does not mean that abortions will no longer occur. It simply means that people with uteruses will be forced to find other ways. Illegal and high risk ways.

People with uteruses have died over and over by not having access to proper medical abortions, and feeling they have no other option than to take matters into their own hands. Why are we allowing that?

The number of women who die each year from unsafe abortions: 47,000.

We need to Protect the Right to Abortion!

We need to protect our rights to complete bodily autonomy. We must fight this fight. Abortions are legal and easily accessible where I live, but that will not stop me from joining this fight. It is important that we support each other and fight for all of our rights.

On this blog we are: Pro-Choice! Pro-Abortion! Pro-DoingWhateverTheF*ckWeWant!
